Adam & Anna-Marie | Brookgreen Gardens Wedding

Everyone who lives in the area knows how beautiful Brookgreen Gardens is, especially around Night of a Thousand Candles. When we booked this wedding, we knew we would be in for a special treat! We weren’t wrong.

Adam & Anna-Marie met over 7 years ago when he walked into Bay Naturals to get his “sprouts”. Fast forward and now these two are writing a beautiful love story.

The day was picture perfect as we worked great along with Ramona from Ramona Nicolae to capture all the special moments.

Anna-Marie made our day easy. She was absolutely stunning and was able to pose for every shot so naturally! The cottage at Brookgreen Gardens was a great setting with Anna-Marie getting ready upstairs and Adam getting prepared downstairs.

Next on the agenda for the day was the couples first look. It was actually our first time filming a first look and something we had been looking forward to. It was awesome as Adam was left almost speechless upon seeing his bride!

As we made our way over to the ceremony site I wasn’t sure what to expect, but I knew it would be beautiful. What we saw next was breathtaking! I literally pulled my iPhone out to snap a picture. The ceremony site was like something from a fairytale.

The aisle was surrounded by HUGE Spanish Moss trees which were already decorated with light strands for Night of a Thousand Candles. At the end of the aisle was an alter incredibly decorated with vibrant fall flowers.

As the sun was setting and the cool Fall evening was falling upon us we were getting ready for the reception. Adam & Anna-Marie entered to cheers from family and friends and performed their first dance which was followed up by the cutting of their incredible three cake design by Butter + Whisk. Butter + Whisk always nails the cake details along with a very tasty cake!

With a wedding like this you blink and it’s over. Anna-Marie and Adam made their big exit under rose pedals surrounded by those closest to them! Wow, what a day!
